Black Dragon Takeout is a West Philadelphia restaurant combining Chinese American takeout traditions with Black American and soul-food flavors. Led by chef Kurt Evans, the menu features creative dishes such as oxtail lo mein, halal lamb dan dan noodles and General Roscoe’s wings finished with St. Louis-style barbecue sauce. Located on Rodman Street, the restaurant offers a distinctive takeout experience inspired by familiar Chinese dishes, West Philadelphia’s communities and the longstanding relationship between Black and Chinese American food traditions.
